Dear Oprah Winfrey...Bernadine Wade deserves to tell her story on your stage

Can't wait to see Bernadine Wade on the Oprah Winfrey Show, I know I can't, you should want to see his lady from North Canton, Ohio on the Oprah Show. and I hope after reading this, you would write to the Oprah Winfrey show producers requesting they do a show about Ms Wade and these other families that are suffering at the hands of these sexual predators who prey on little ones on School Buses and Vans.

Everytime I talk to Ms Wade...she always tells me that she wants to tell her story on Oprah's show.

Why Oprah...
A few years back Ms Wade's, seven year old special needs daughter, Ne-Ne, was being molested by a teenager on a Jackson Township Local School District Minivan for almost 2 years and Ms. Wade had no way of knowing that her daughter was being being sodomized and forced to have perform oral sex on this teenage boy on this 7 passenger school minivan during her 45 minute ride home for nearly 2 years.

Why Oprah...
The local news outlets in and around North Canton, didn't give Bernadine Wade and her family any real news press...matter of fact, the Canton Repository wrote about the incident but gave the story 4 lines of valuable ink in the back section of their newspaper by the used car section.

Why Oprah...
The local Fox News Affiliate in the Canton happened to pick up on the story and did an investigative report, in which the school district's superintendent, had not comment on the situation, also the van driver and van driver's supervisor also stand behind the fact that this situation didn't happen... even though the offender admitted to it and was sentenced to some time in jail... here is a statement that spokesman for the bus company that was hired by the Jackson Township School District said "if a tree falls in the woods and no one hears, did it fall?" maybe he should have said "no comment" like Ms. Cheryl Haschak, the Jackson County Local Schools Superintendent.

Why Oprah...
There are 11 other known cases of children that were molested in Ohio in similar situations... I am no rocket scientist but what I do know if there are 11 known cases, in the court system, there are more probably hundreds of others that are afraid to come forward for fear of embarrassment of what other people are going to say about them. I urge them to come forward. The people that will call you a bad parent are ignorant... in order for this to stop, people need to let others know their stories. Awareness = Change and that exactly what Ohio needs, change!

Why Oprah...
In late December 07 or early January 08, Ms Wade received a letter from the Ohio Supreme Court saying that her case was being dismissed due to it having no precedent... although they are hearing another case very similar.

Why Oprah...
Oprah's show has a huge viewing and one of the top shows in the world and a very large audience... so Oprah has a voice that is second to none... and she is well respected by the media. Oprah Winfrey can make a book a Best Seller in a matter of hours, that is the type of voice that this situation needs... Oprah, I know you used to have topics that mattered and this matters, because until people know that their children are not as safe as we as parents think they are riding on school buses and vans across America... you see Ohio is not the only state with this problem.

Why Oprah...
Since Oprah's show is so widely viewed across the world, other news outlets will pick up on this story and bring awareness to something that this lady has been trying to fight but has run out of money... her lawyer has said "there is nothing else he could do"... but we need someone and somebody to keep this going until the laws are changed and this little girl and family gets the medical help that they are going to need.

This is why I believe that Bernadine Wade needs to be on the Oprah Show, so that she can tell her story to the world... because when it all breaks down... this is real news!

The Ohio School System sucks...overhaul needed yesterday
