So you wanna know who I am
Just so you guys know my name is Ryan and I am from Gary, In...I have been this way except for the few years I was in the Air Force down in Ga and living in Atlanta afterward for a few years. gioperation = Gi Operation = Gary In -Operation...so now you know what it stands for.
I want to thank you for landing on my blog...I have been on this site for a couple of years and have met and networked with some great people...coming to world wide web which was something that I had no intention of doing initially...basically what I had done was gave up on life for the most part...Not that I was going to commit suicide or anything like that...but I was settling to get be ordinary and average and that was never me...but life had thrown so many curve balls at me...it had my head spinning!
Meeting some of these people have lead me back to where I was, I have a great lady in my life(sometimes...LOL), a vigor for life, back to my money making ways(not just settling for a 9-5) anymore...I think that is what was hurting my soul. So basically I am working on a few projects...
- #1 is writing my autobiography, (you can read excerpts from it, in my both of my blogs, here on MySpace, and on http://www.gioperation.com/. Due to be released when I turn 40.
- #2 working on building my Merchant Account Business(that is where I save you money when you accept plastic from your customers and give you the ability to accept them...I bet I can save you money with your current vendor. You should at least see what I got to offer, because I know I can. The worse thing is I will tell you that you got it going on already, you run the business, I will help you keep some of your money...win-win situation! - #4 I do Internet Marketing...if you are on myspace or any other social network and are blogging why should Tom from MySpace or the guy that owns Facebook make all the money, get your share, I am getting mine, so get yours(I will teach you how)...you should probably have your own site like me http://gi-sports.blogspot.com/, not because after you get that site and I don't care what it is...I can teach you how to make money from your site even w/o selling one single product per say...just for having it. (example if you go to http://www.gioperation.com/) and you look at my site...there is a banner at the top that every time somebody clicks on it...it takes them to what they are looking for...or those ads by Google that are on my page the same way... it is a blog, but I am thinking about turning it into a forum, but anyway what happens is..someone comes to my site, by way of one of the search engines(google, msn, yahoo and etc)...and then they don't exactly find what they are looking for but one of those ads from Google or one of the banners might be what they are looking for, so they click on it...it is called PPC (pay per click)(you don't pay, they pay to put the ad on my site) and you know what I haven't made a fortune...at this time of writing I am averaging about $50 a month for it(2/28/08) and it's doing better each and everyday. I have only really been at for a couple of months.
- #5 I am doing Sports Management, and I telling you that is my passion for real...think about it...I love the sales side of things and I love sports, so why not sell my clients to these sports teams and get them the money they deserve(so if you know anyone looking to break into Pro- Anything, we will help you) I got you! Those are the things that I am working on besides me...I am always working on me, becoming a better person ...Father, Boyfriend, Friend and and my Millionaire Status...In my opinion, I am just plain average guy with big hopes and dreams that I know will come true(as a man thinketh), I know so because all the people I have met in my life...My motto is...Life is about helping others get what they want, in return I will get everything that I want...in other words, you give to receive(that is the way I was taught)...isn't that also the basic law of economics?

Barack sneaks around like a cat in the night

I don't know what took me so long to get around to writing this but better late than never...I know I might be speaking in the minority here but in this case...minority rules(no pun intended)...
Here is my rant...How is the hell can a school corporation in this day in time be in school for Martin Luther King Day(MLK) Holiday...just how?...just about every doggone school across the Country was out and if your school corporation was in they need their asses whipped too. Send me their names and I will put them on blast here. Lets start a list.
My daughter stays with her mom in Chesterton, In...and she goes to Bailey Elementary in the first grade...and I had her that weekend and was thinking that I didn't have to get her home Sunday night so that she could get ready for the school week...her mom called me like "hey what time are you bringing her home?" I was like Monday evening...and she said "Are you taking her to school?" I thought her school should be out, just like the banks, businesses and everything else that was closed on the (I thought the Holiday) I guess no one is paying me to think here...LOL (Actually I am paid to think..ask around!!!)
So really, to tell you the truth I thought she was lying when she said they had school so of course, I called the school the next day and true enough they answered the phone...Bailey Elementary or what ever they said...I was like "you guys are really there, huh" the person who answered the phone was like ummmm yeah...like why wouldn't we be. Are you freaking kidding me? Not only did the kids not know that it was a holiday but it didn't seem like the staff did either or didn't give a rats ass about it...
If you guys know me, I never talk about White/Black issues oh wait yeah I do, but what I mean is I don't see White and Black(color blindness)...you will never hear me saying this happened because I was black...naw it happen because I caused it to happen...I have never lost a job because I was black, I lost it because of me or not kissing enough ass or telling it like it is, just like this story.
Fast forward to this month...suppose to be Black History Month(almost over though) at least it has the extra day this year...LOL ...but anyway Presidents Day rolled around...do I even have to tell you who or what School District wasn't in School...Ummm...Duneland Schools, matter of fact they were out on the Friday before and the Monday of...how about that? Great 4 day weekend...do you think that, this just happened...I think not! You can make your own conclusions but I want someone from the district to tell me a couple of things...
- What did they do for Black History Month?
- and why in the hell did the kids not have MLK day off?
- ah yeah 2 days for Presidents Day? and I don't want to hear, it was a teachers in-service day or some crap like that.
I know this may single out my daughter because she is totally in minority over there at Bailey, but she is true star and will make that school proud, that she was once a student there...when her name is up in the lights, but I just had to write this...
I finally figured out what made me to remember to write this...Today, Duneland Schools, for whatever reason was #67 on Google HOT Trends for most searched for...maybe it was the fact that Chesterton High School Boys Basketball Team won the conference outright last Friday for the first time in school history but beating Crown Point by 14 pts 55-41...which I take my hat off to...and also good luck Zack Novak in your quest for playing Division 1 Basketball next season...Hopefully Michigan, good luck in the sectionals...Valparaiso is tough though but y'all already know that...maybe this is the reason that this is the 1st(lol)...if you think I don't keep up with my sports...Check this out!

Today I give up!!!
Today I give up...
No I am not giving up on me...I am giving up on you...
Here is why I am giving up...I can no longer care more about someone than they care about themselves, I just can't...it is taking a toll on me and it tears me up on the inside, it really does!
I will no longer chase anyone down just to show them what they have been asking for, remember you will attract all that you want in life...but you have to know when it is being bought to you on a silver platter.
I give up!!!
If it is money that you need, I will not chase you down to show you how to get it, I am sacrificing my own net worth to show you how to get it...tell me again why should I worry if you need more dollars to make ends meet or just to have a few extra in life.

East Chicago Central's Parents to protest the treatment of students on Monday

Hey Ya'll,
On Monday February, 25, 2008 at 9am, the parents of current and future E.C. Central High Students are meeting at the Administration Building on Columbus Drive..( The Big Blue Building) to protest the treatment of the students. Issues ranging from unfair suspensions, denying the students Due Process and any and all complaints you may have. There is strength is numbers so the more the merrier!!
I'm not sure if you all are aware of this, but yesterday there was a major conflict!!
I don't know what provoked this incident, but a policemen, Michael Smith, beat a student; slamming him into a brick wall sending him into convulsions. While convulsing, the officer proceeded to cuff the kid with his knee in his back. Like I mentioned previously, I don't know what the kid did to provoke this, I'm not saying either way, The heart of the matter is the excessive force used. I do know that the kid was unarmed. If a parent can be jailed for spanking their own children, who gives the powers that be the right to split their skulls???
With tensions flying high, there were 4 fights on the first lunch hour!! Eventually 20 or so kids were hospitalized and 20 or so were jailed.
After wards, Central high was placed on lock down, after my baby texted me, and immediately going to withdraw her, there were already at least 70 parents there to pick-up their children, in a peaceful manner. The parents weren't in an uproar, we merely there to remove our children out of harm's way. . We were not allowed in for over an hour..Once the police returned, they returned in full combat gear;assault riffles included! Talking to us parents like we were a mob and/or inciting a riot. NOT THE CASE AT ALL!!
Enough is enough, I know we have issues in our "urban" communities, and I know that some of the kids are bad. I only question the punishments being match the crimes.
The proverb, "IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD" is the message we're sending to the East Chicago Public School system. Did you know that in E.C. in 2005 out of 1,200 students, there were 1,500 suspensions; not tucking in their shirts, etc. out of 1,500 suspensions, only 27 were weapons and/or drug related. How can the administration claim to be concerned with test scores and education, when they suspensions are this high??
It's noted that attendance has a direct effect of test scores and grades.
The parents and citizens of East Chicago and anyone with concerns; we implore you to join us in a peaceful demonstration, "DON'T INTIMIDATE! DON'T UNJUSTLY INCARCERATE! JUST EDUCATE!"
I'm asking in supplication, that we continue to encourage and incite the kids to do fine works, and borrowing a passage from Amistad. WHO WE ARE IS WHO WE WERE
