What is NAET?

Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET) is a non-invasive, drug-free, natural solution to eliminate allergies and allergy-related disorders with lasting results. NAET was discovered by Devi S. Nambudripad, D.C., L.Ac., M.D., Ph.D. in 1983.

NAET uses applied kinesiology and acupressure/acupuncture to test for and treat allergies/sensitivities.

What is an allergy?
An allergy is a condition of unusual sensitivity towards one or more substances. What may be an allergy for one person can be harmless and even beneficial to another. In other words, an allergy is an energy imbalance between the energy of the person and the substance causing unpleasant physical, physiological and/or psychological reactions in the person.s body.

Allopathic allergists define an allergy as a reaction of the body.s immune system that takes place after the body becomes sensitized to a substance (allergen), usually a protein. Allergic reactions result when allergy-causing proteins combine with antibodies to trigger the release of histamine and other chemicals that can cause skin rashes and various other symptoms.

When we evaluate an allergy through energy medicine knowledge, allergic reactions can result from a clash between the .energy fields. of the allergen and the allergy sufferer. An allergy is defined in terms of what a substance does to the energy flow in the body. Allergies are the result of energy imbalances in the body, leading to a diminished state of health in one or more organ systems. When contact is made with an allergen, it causes blockages in the energy pathways (acupuncture meridians). In other words, it disrupts the normal flow of energy through the body.s electrical circuits. This energy blockage interferes in the communication between the brain and body via the nervous system. This blocked energy flow is the first step in a chain of events which can develop into an allergic response.
