Gary, Indiana gets it's full service License Branch back

Gary finially has the full-service License Branch back...I don't why they took it away in the first place, being the largest city in Lake County, but anyway it's back and that is music to my ears...I guess the lawmakers do listen sometimes!!!

Not only is the branch back it is bigger and better...3300 sq foot, 6 customer service terminals and 6 additional full-time employees to get you through the line faster...the average wait time at any branch in Indiana is just under 9 minutes.

The new Gary, Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch, located@ 661 Broadway in the Indiana Department of Child Services Building.

Regional BMV manager Sandi Pancer said the Gary branch will keep the same hours as other branches: 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays, and closed Sunday and Monday.

Indiana drivers can also take advantage of renewing their plates online as well and the state gives a $5 discount for doing so...in which 525K have done this year alone, up from 390K for the full year of 2007 and residents who have done so have saved a combined $2.5 Million...

Wanna renew online, check the wait and visit time or schedule an appointment for your local Indiana BMV branch... here is the link... http://www.in.gov/bmv
