Fight to keep Roosevelt High School Open...heats up

There is a meeting planned to discuss options of whether to close the historic Roosevelt High School...a school that has been open since before the 1930's...This was the first black high school in the Gary, In. This is also the High School that some of the Jacksons, Jackie, Rebbie and Tito, Avery Brooks, William Marshall, Glen Robinson and Lloyd McClendon, Michael King, Sharmell Sullivan(storm) one of the original Nitro girls, Joe(moose) Gates, Winston Garland(7 NBA seasons), Dick Barnett(NBA all-star) and a host of other including Ryan Hodge(gioperation).
