What we doing about crime in our cities? another senseless Gary, In murder!

Can someone please answer this question...why do people steal and kill from each other?

What is the purpose, this is ridiculous!!!

Monday evening I was driving home and my sister called to tell that she was watching the news and it was a carjacking on 17th and Virginia by my house and to tell me to be careful and make sure I locked all the doors and windows. It was all over the news, me being kinda nosey and all drove past Virginia St since I was still in the car...there were many and I repeat many police cars and police officers combing the streets with huge assault rifles looking for the dumbest criminal in the world...and I say dumbest because committing crimes like this is the dumbest thing that I have ever heard...matter of fact they are all dumb...but why carjack someone?...are you mad because they have a nicer ride than you...what is the reason?...can someone explain this to me?

I rode down the street and as I was doing that my sister said that it was a young girl and her child in the vehicle...opps double stupid...yeah now I have turned it from dumb to stupid, I started calling all of my female friends that I knew had little ones...to check on them...all except for one...I don't know why I didn't but I missed one...maybe because I didn't notice the Ford Explorer that was being towed away...

It hit me this morning as I was listening to the 911 calls that it was one my good friends who I have not spoken to since last summer...it was her best friend and she had a new car so I didn't notice it...they used to always bring their kids out on the weekends to my softball games...and I didn't realize who it was until I heard the 911 tapes...This girl kept to herself always with a smile on her face, cracking jokes, making me laugh...and her child is dead, never getting to live a life, she will never get to see her child go to school for first time with the little lunch box...never get to see her child graduate from HS, never get to see her child enter college, never get to see her child get married...nothing, nada, zilch...are you kidding me? Just because of some idiot!!!

The question I ask is why?

listen to the 911 tapes and see if it doesn't bring chills up your spine...I know that voice on the 911 tapes from anywhere. I used to tease her all the time, because she sounds like a little baby and this is her best friend from when she was a little kid laying on the ground not responding.

This is not just a Gary, Indiana problem this is a world problem...so I ask the presidential hopefuls...instead of fighting the terrorist across the waters...what are we doing to fight the terrorist here in the United States...I say bring our troops home and let them fight this fight!!!

Rudy Clay(the mayor of Gary) what are you going to do? This type of senseless violence has to stop!
